I am missing Minnesota terribly right now. We are nearing the last weeks of the semester and this is the first thanksgiving I spent away from home. It was quite humbling. It took me moving 1300 miles from my home, 1 1/2 years of living away, 3 different times moving, and an impacting environmental change back to home to make me realize how much I appreciate the little things in life. How much it really means to just be in a certain place at a certain time. To be away from those you take for granted and who you love so dearly. I am thankful for the moments and times I DO get to spend with them. I am grateful for my one of my best friends family graciously taking me in this thanksgiving and giving a me a warm home and home cooked meal. I am thankful for all of my wonderful friends who are there for me. I am thankful for the ability to dance and be supported enough to peruse my goals and dreams. Finally I am grateful for mother earth and her everlasting support and kindness to the human kind even when it is not deserved.
